  • I saw the Tilly Project end - of - life photographs on Tic-Tok and knew that was what I needed for myself and my 11 year old Maltepoo. This little dog has meant so much to me and she came into my life during some troubled times. Sadly I found out she had bilateral patella luxation that was crippling her before her 1st birthday. At less than 5 pounds she was a high risk surgery, since I also found out she had collapsing trachea during her surgical work up. Thankfully she had a long but semi successful surgery. She’s had a good life, y’all, she’s had kids love her and she loves everyone she’s met. Since she’s started deteriorating she’s visited family, she’s gone camping, long car rides, festivals and had all the forbidden foods. I longed to get photos of me and her together and when I realized I only had a few blurry ones from selfies I’ve taken of us I knew I had to find a photographer. I posted in the Tilly Project FB page and Jen replied that she’d love to help. She was about 150 miles away but thankfully was in the area that I grew up in and still had family living that I visited quite often. Jen was the sweetest and most patient with me and my puppy. We met up at John’s Pass, a fishing area that I spent a lot of time with as a kid with my late Dad. Being in that spot, with my precious puppy, is one of my prized photographs. Jen didn’t take a penny. She edited and sent so many photos that I had a hard time choosing the best to hang in my home. Jen proved to be a very compassionate, loving young lady and I was glad I met her to give me such a precious gift of my girl. Thank you, Jen, for your kindness.

  • Definitely a 11/10 experience. I did my engagement photos with her and they turned out absolutely stunning. She even helped play along in a surprise to help my fiancé not realize that I was actually proposing.
